The 400 members of the Friends of Will donated 7,012 hours of volunteer time and effort worth over $150,000 to assure that GRSF has the resources to maintain its artistic standards and meet its financial objectives. The Friends cooked and served food for the company, ushered and greeted during performances and events, worked on education programs, transported GRSF company, staff, and visiting artists to area airports, sewed in the costume shop, assisted in the GRSF office, distributed posters and brochures throughout the region, ad helped company members move in and out of the East Lake Apartments. Projects this year also included assisting with Grilling on the Green, organizing and greeting at AfterWill parties, and assuming concession duties during Intern/Apprentice Project performances. A special Projects Team has been formed to explore new volunteer opportunities, implement pilot projects and determining the future efficacy of additional programs.
