Friends of Will – July 2012

Moving day was accomplished in record time thanks to Move in/Move Out Team Chair Tom Hoffmann, Rob Thomas Company Manager and FOW who moved housing needs from storage to the East Lake WSU apartments.  Great job! ~ Kathleen Lothringer, a costume shop intern, was very impressed that Team Chariot members would pick  up everyone, not just the GRSF star members! ~ Jim Nelson, Transportation Team Chair

The Hospitality Team provided 8 days of meals to GRSF company members. Once again the cast and crew were so appreciative; they were delighted to see some of their favorite dishes they look forward to each year! Hyvee, Jefferson’s Pub and Grill and Midtown Foods also donated food.  I simply can’t count the number of times we were thanked and were asked to pass on those words of thanks!  Thank you!
~ Kris Blanchard, Hospitality Team Co-Chair

Over 80 people attended the spring study sessions of Season 9 plays. The sessions were sponsored by the FOW Education Team,  Ruth Charles and Michelle Kline, Co-chairs.

FOW Mary Alice Anderson, Connie Larson, Kathy Seifert, Mary Lee Eischen, Margaret Kiihne, Dee Cipov, and Mary Kasper along with GRSF costume shop staff John Baird and Jeanne Oost, made the art quilt wall hanging on display in the theater lobby. Nine pieces of fabric blend to create a river. Fabrics were used in costumes for A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Henry IV Part One. Raffle tickets may be purchased at the GRSF lobby gift shop or FOW. The winner will be announced at the July 31 Callithump. ~photo by Kathy Christenson
