behind the scenes with Friends of Will

Transportation Team Chair Jim Nelson has coordinated 26 pickups and “deliveries” of 2013 Company members arriving to Winona from throughout the country. Team Chariot participants have helped out by driving to and from airports in LaCrosse, Rochester and Minneapolis and the Winona Amtrak station to meet people to arrive by train or shuttle.

Distribution Team Chair Dee Cipov said a great way to spread GRSF_Brochure_2013the word about GRSF is to carry a few season brochures with you during your travels around the region to give to people who ask about the festival or share with businesses that do not have them. Pick up a handful at the GRSF office.

The GRSF Callithump Quilt Team is completing a beautiful queen size quilt imageusing fabrics representing each GRSF season.  The quilt will be on display in the PAC lobby opening weekend. Raffle tickets will be available in the gift shop; the lucky winner will be drawn at the July 30 Callithump!  Friends of Will Mary Alice Anderson, Dee Cipov, Mary Lee Eischen, Mary Kaser, Margaret Kiihne, Connie Larson, and Kathy Seifert began planning and sewing in February!  Costume shop personnel John Baird, Zach Wagner and Jeanne Oost have also lent a sewing hand and their expertise.  GRSF Development Associate Rob Thomas is helping with logistics! A selection of the design is shown here!
